Job Requirements

  • Handling, carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to efficiently and safely stand and move about the entire facility during each shift
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and lift
  • Must be at least the minimum legal drinking age as per state law
  • Experience working in a fast paced food and beverage environment
  • Must possess or obtain all necessary certifications such as alcohol awareness or health cards
  • Ability to communicate clearly and patiently with guests and team members
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of serving in a fast paced food and beverage venue
  • Knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages, designated glassware, preparation methods and garnishments
  • Must meet state legal age requirements
  • Must speak fluent English
  • Courteous, pleasant, and good natured
  • Strong communication skills for interaction with guests and staff
  • Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required
  • Proficient reading, writing, and basic math skills
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays

Job Duties

  • Greet all guests and take beverage and food orders in a prompt and professional manner
  • Serve cocktails and/or menu items to bar guests
  • Up-sell when taking orders
  • Show that you are energetic, outgoing, fun person while maintaining professionalism
  • Provide outstanding and professional service with a smile to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Communicate effectively and clearly with co-workers and kitchen staff verbally and via point of sales system
  • Communicate with guests clearly, patiently and with good humor
  • Be well-versed in all concept products and menu items to guide guest experience and sell items
  • Consistently check guests' identification to ensure legal drinking age
  • Monitor guest behavior and alcohol consumption and notify management of excess or impaired guests
  • Complete all assigned side work
  • Accurately account for all sales and payments from guests
  • Alert management of service or safety issues and perform service recovery as necessary
  • Promote teamwork and quality service through communication with other departments
  • Coordinate with bartenders and kitchen for ordering and receipt of food and beverages
