The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is a premier luxury hotel located in the renowned Deer Valley ski resort, approximately 40 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport. Part of an ambitious new development, the resort is planned to feature 17 ski lifts, 1,600 residential units, eight hotels with a combined total of 1,350 rooms, extensive conference and retail space encompassing 250,000 square feet, and one of the world’s largest ski beaches. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Desire to satisfy guest needs in a fast-paced environment
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- Physical stamina to lift moderate weights
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Previous food service experience required
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience as a cocktail server
- Knowledge of drink menus and beverage preparation
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to engage with guests in a friendly manner
- Current alcohol server certification
- Food service permit as required by local or state law
- Hospitality or fine dining experience preferred
Job Duties
- Present beverage selections to guests
- Provide personalized recommendations of drink offerings
- Engage guests with casual conversation to enhance dining experience
- Perform general restaurant preparation tasks
