Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age
- previous beverage experience required
- cash handling experience required
- must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- must have strong written and verbal communication skills
- must be fluent and literate in English
- ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- mobility and dexterity to carry and serve a tray of beverages weighing 15 pounds
- ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization
- ability to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, and bright lights
- ability to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment
- must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy
- available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- one year of cocktail server experience in a fast-paced environment preferred
- excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- fluent and literate in English
- ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization
Job Duties
- Adheres to all departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards
- provides prompt, courteous beverage refreshment service to casino guests
- maintains accountability for all cash receipts, complimentary charges, drink tokens, room charges, and issue banks
- keeps informed of continually changing promotional beverages, events, and services
- maintains integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities
- interacts with guests and co-workers in a helpful, positive, professional, and friendly manner
- resolves service issues according to established guidelines
