Job Requirements

  • One year of food and beverage service experience preferably in a hotel or resort environment
  • Must have excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work AM, PM, weekend, and holiday shifts as required
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage preparation, hotel service standards, guest relations, and etiquette
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of all menu and bar items
  • Ability to learn and use telephone and POS computer systems used at the hotel

Job Qualifications

  • One year of food and beverage service experience preferably in a hotel or resort

Job Duties

  • Take accurate orders from guests
  • Make food and beverage recommendations
  • Provide excellent guest service
  • Upsell food and beverage items to maximize profitability
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of menu and bar items
  • Learn and use telephone and POS computer systems
  • Work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
