Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to stand for long periods and move quickly between tables
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to handle cash and process credit card payments according to policy
- Knowledge of club opening and closing procedures
- Must maintain a professional appearance
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Must follow safety and legal compliance guidelines
- Ability to report issues to management promptly
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a cocktail server or in a similar customer service role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of drink and bottle service etiquette
- Ability to handle cash and process payments accurately
- Professional appearance and grooming consistent with company standards
- Ability to work flexible evening and weekend hours
- Team player with a positive attitude
Job Duties
- Use the club opening and closing checklists on a nightly basis to track completion of opening and closing procedures
- At the time of opening, all servers must be standing within their section with a bottle service menu
- The servers goal is to sell tables/bottles to guests already in the club
- Ensure every guest is having an enjoyable and memorable experience at Cafe Sevilla
- All VIP guests are to be served to Sevilla expectation and the steps of service for cocktail servers are followed
- Interact with customers by taking their orders, making recommendations, providing them with accurate bills, serving them drinks, processing payments, and supplying them with their requests in a timely manner
- Process all payments in accordance with Cafe Sevilla policies including cash handling, credit card processing and ID verification procedures
- Encourage additional sales to guests by upselling drinks/bottles, offering additional bottles with appropriate pricing, and promoting table service to guests not already seated
- Handle multiple tables and tasks in an efficient manner
- Maintain clean and presentable tables and work area with minimal trash and empty glassware during service hours
- Keep a positive work attitude and friendly demeanor with the ability to work well with coworkers and as a team when necessary
- Stay within their section during business hours except briefly to pick up items or bottles
- Maintain a polished professional appearance in accordance with the Employee Handbook
- Inform management of any additional resources needed to maintain service standards
- Watch for underage drinking and report any safety concerns or maintenance issues to management immediately
- Report any harassment by guests to management promptly
- Recommend and assist in implementing process improvements
- Properly complete all end of shift paperwork including nightly check out per company policy
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
