Job Requirements
- must be 21 years of age or older
- minimum of two years experience in a high volume, service focused restaurant or nightclub
- previous cocktail serving experience in a high-volume nightclub preferred
- possession of a valid alcohol awareness card and health department card
- ability to work within a team environment
- ability to multitask and respond quickly to various situations
- professional and pleasant appearance
- strong customer service orientation
- ability to stand or walk for minimum eight hour shifts
- ability to lift and carry trays weighing up to 25 pounds
- excellent communication skills
- adherence to all standard operating procedures and sequence of service standards
- must meet social communication standards and marketing requirements using Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram
- ability to develop personal clientele
- participate in marketing and publicity activities
- abide by all policies and guidelines
Job Qualifications
- must be 21 years of age or older
- minimum of two years experience in a high volume, service focused restaurant or nightclub
- previous cocktail serving experience in a high-volume nightclub preferred
- valid alcohol awareness card and health department card required
- self-motivated and eager to improve skills
- fluent in English both written and oral
- multilingual skills a plus
- previous modeling experience preferred but not required
- strong knowledge of spirits, wines, champagnes and mixed cocktails
- ability to mix well-balanced cocktails and shots
- proficiency in operating point of sales systems terminal
Job Duties
- provide quality guest service while preparing and serving tableside beverages and sometimes food and amenities on a timely manner
- handle cash and credit card transactions at the point of sale system
- initiate and engage in conversation with all guests professionally and friendly
- pour drinks and mix well-balanced cocktails and shots following standard recipes
- act as an ambassador of the venue and market all products offered to the targeted customer base
- collect customer information for the venue database striving to increase personal clientele
- meet marketing requirements established by management
- prepare products according to venue recipes focusing on proper portion control
- exhibit complete knowledge of service sequence and selling technique
- provide properly itemized bills and secure payments according to procedures
- work with urgency to anticipate customer needs and assist team members
- communicate with management, VIP hosts and service team to resolve customer needs and incidents
- ensure assigned areas and equipment are clean and well stocked
- maintain inventory at established par levels
- adhere to all policies, procedures and guidelines
- maintain excellent customer service skills and high standards in a changing environment
