Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least one year of experience in food and beverage service
  • proficiency with POS systems
  • must be at least 21 years old
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • good communication skills
  • ability to follow health and safety protocols

Job Duties

  • Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
  • take and accurately record drink orders into POS system
  • maintain a professional and approachable attitude engaging with guests
  • monitor and intervene service to intoxicated guests following guidelines
  • set up and break down cocktail area each shift
  • participate in daily stand-up meetings to understand property communications
  • complete computer assisted training in a timely manner
  • collect orders from bartenders and serve with proper garnish and napkins
  • foster a positive and inclusive work environment
  • collaborate effectively with bartenders, servers, and hosts
  • maintain knowledge of in-house services and local information
  • maintain tables by removing empty glassware and clearing after guests depart
  • identify opportunities to upsell premium or specialty beverages
  • utilize guest's name when known and offer fond farewells
  • adhere to uniform appearance standards
  • comply with health and safety guidelines
  • process guest payments accurately
  • complete all opening and closing side work
  • uphold responsible alcohol service requirements including checking IDs
  • serve food items as required
  • operate POS system to ensure accurate sales and cash handling
  • maintain punctual and regular attendance
