Job Requirements

  • minimum of 2 years experience in a commercial kitchen preferred
  • pastry baking experience preferred
  • ability to work a flexible schedule, including am and pm shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • must hold a valid food handler certification and Louisiana responsible vendor card
  • must be available to work thursdays, fridays, and saturdays
  • ability to lift up to 30 pounds

Job Duties

  • assist the executive chef and sous chefs with restaurant, banquet, and specialty dessert menu preparation
  • greet all guests promptly, courteously, and professionally
  • practice upselling and suggestive selling when taking orders
  • pick up and deliver orders efficiently
  • deliver beverages to guests as needed
  • maintain clean and organized lounge and service areas
  • monitor guest tables
  • ensure service areas are cleaned and cleared regularly
  • process guest payments accurately and courteously upon departure
