Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a commercial kitchen
- Pastry baking experience preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including AM and PM shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must hold a valid Food Handler Certification and Louisiana Responsible Vendor Card
- Must be available to work Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Work performed inside the hotel in restaurant and kitchen areas with exposure to humidity, steam, and high temperatures
- Exposure to food and beverage preparation areas and hazardous cleaning chemicals
- Frequent contact with food and beverage items
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a commercial kitchen preferred

Job Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs with restaurant, banquet, and specialty dessert menu preparation
- Greet all guests promptly, courteously, and professionally
- Practice upselling and suggestive selling when taking orders
- Pick up and deliver orders efficiently
- Deliver beverages to guests as needed
- Maintain clean and organized lounge and service areas
- Ensure service areas are cleaned and cleared regularly
- Process guest payments accurately and courteously upon departure
