Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year cocktail server experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Food handler certification required
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Hep A vaccination on or before first day of work
  • Availability to work weekends, nights and holidays
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to obtain and maintain liquor certification if applicable

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a liquor certification, if applicable

Job Duties

  • Participate regularly in departmental and company meetings
  • Smile, provide exceptional customer service, and always treat guests and coworkers with respect
  • Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to specifications and serve them in an orderly and timely fashion
  • Ensure guest is 21 or older before serving alcoholic beverages by accurately checking guest ID
  • Be knowledgeable in the products the company serves
  • Properly operate the point of sales system, account for all service items, and keep a balanced bank
  • Uphold great communication with guests, build rapport, and engage in friendly conversations
  • Set and keep workstations and casino floor areas properly stocked, clean, safe, and organized
  • Serve drinks, greet guests, bus and run drinks, do side work, and perform other necessary functions under normal operating conditions
  • Communicate all guest service opportunities and product shortages or issues to management
  • Know and comply with all rules, regulations and policies of the food and beverage department
  • Follow the company’s attendance policy as well as other rules and regulations set forth in the handbook
  • Abide by all state and local liquor laws
  • Immediately report any safety hazards, problems, or maintenance issues to the appropriate party
  • Ensure customer service standards are met and retained
  • Complete assignable work tasks requested by departmental leaders
  • Perform other duties as assigned
