Job Requirements

- Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or equivalent
- 3 years’ experience interacting positively with people
- Working knowledge of cocktail tray service and drink recipes
- Tolerance of all cultures, music, and art forms
- Ability to deal with intoxicated guests in a positive and safety minded manner
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 3 years’ work experience in a customer-facing role
- Knowledge of cocktail tray service and basic food service
- Experience with responsible alcohol service and drink recipes
- Familiarity with point of sale systems
- Certification in Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training or equivalent
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to tolerate and appreciate diverse cultures, music, and art forms
Job Duties
- Anticipate and respond to guests' needs
- Suggestively sell beverages and menu items
- Take orders accurately
- Answer guest questions and make recommendations
- Communicate drink orders to bar through Point of Sales system
- Deliver drinks maneuvering trays through large crowds
- Maintain line of sight and atmosphere control by circulating through work area
- Remove dirty glasses and dishes, including lifting bus tubs up to 25lbs
- Keep tables clean and wiped
- Clean spills and remove food, trash or obstacles from floor using proper techniques
- Maintain company safety and sanitation standards
- Follow housekeeping standards per policy
- Keep current on all standard operating procedures
- Request identification from guests appearing under 30 years of age
- Ensure responsible alcohol service according to laws and company policies
- Recognize intoxicated guests and refuse further service politely and safely while notifying management
- Receive and process payments including cash and credit card transactions
- Ensure comp and void checks are processed according to company policy
- Assist other servers and staff as needed
