Job Description

The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is a luxurious hospitality establishment situated in the renowned Deer Valley ski resort, just about 40 minutes from the Salt Lake City International Airport. This prestigious hotel is part of an ambitious new development project that promises a world-class experience featuring 17 ski lifts, approximately 1,600 residential units, 8 hotels with around 1,350 rooms, and roughly 250,000 square feet of conference and retail space. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience as a cocktail server
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a cocktail server in a restaurant
  • Ability to engage customers in a friendly and personable manner
  • Knowledge of beverage menus and cocktail preparation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Present guests beverage selections
  • Gain menu knowledge and provide drink recommendations
  • Engage in casual conversation with guests to enhance their restaurant experience
  • Perform general restaurant preparation tasks
  • Maintain a sanitary environment
  • Assist with bar area cleanliness and organization
  • Ensure timely and courteous service to all patrons
