Job Requirements

- Three to six months experience in a food/beverage services environment
- Vision ability to see detailed guest checks and computer printouts
- Manual coordination to punch buttons, grasp items and carry trays
- Ability to read, speak and understand English
- Ability to lift and carry 20 to 40 lbs

Job Qualifications

- Able to stand continuously for long periods of time
- Strong communication skills to share information with management, staff and guests
Job Duties
- Greet and take drink orders from bar customers, serving the orders and accommodating special needs/requests
- Remain attentive to customers throughout the entire dining experience, adhering to or exceeding service standards
- Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side-work as instructed
- Memorize bar menu items, recipes and daily specials to answer questions and make recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness standards in restaurant, wait station, and kitchen service area to satisfy health board requirements
- Control guest checks by following established procedures and document all information legibly
- Receive proper payment from guests and ensure the accuracy of the guest check and payment method
- Attend all pre-meal and departmental meetings to enhance communication and product knowledge
- Respond to customer inquiries and comments in person and on the phone
- Present a clean and professional appearance at all times
- Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor
- Handle customer service problems with tact and understanding
- Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management
