Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum three months experience in a food and beverage environment
  • Ability to lift 20-40 lbs
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English
  • Vision to read detailed checks and observe restaurant
  • Manual dexterity to handle orders and trays
  • Ability to maintain professional and courteous demeanor

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent experience
  • Three to six months experience in food and beverage services
  • Ability to see detailed guest checks and observe the restaurant in dim lighting
  • Manual coordination to punch buttons, grasp items, balance and carry trays
  • Proficient in English both spoken and written
  • Ability to lift, push and carry between 20-40 lbs
  • Ability to stand continuously for long periods
  • Good communication skills to interact with management, staff, and guests

Job Duties

  • Greet and take drink orders from bar customers, serving the orders and accommodating special needs/requests
  • Remain attentive to customers throughout the dining experience, adhering to or exceeding service standards
  • Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side-work
  • Memorize bar menu items, recipes and daily specials to answer questions and make recommendations
  • Maintain cleanliness standards in restaurant, wait-station, and kitchen service area
  • Control guest checks by following procedures and documenting information accurately
  • Receive payment and ensure accuracy of guest check and payment method
  • Attend all pre-meal and departmental meetings to enhance communication and product knowledge
  • Respond to customer inquiries and comments with timely and knowledgeable information
  • Present a clean and professional appearance at all times
  • Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
