Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience as a server or in a similar hospitality role preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Must be at least 18 years old
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality preferred
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage menus
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash and credit transactions
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Food safety and hygiene knowledge
Job Duties
- Serves and promotes food and beverage sales
- Accurately takes and enters food and beverage orders for guests
- Cordially and professionally presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and service
- Follows cash and credit card handling policies at all times
- Handles checks and processes payment, including cash transactions, credit card payments and room charges
- Stocks and cleans server stations in back of house as assigned
- Executes preparation for garnishes and sauces
- Cleans and polishes wares for dining room
- Ensures a clean and properly set dining room
- Completes opening, closing and any assigned side work and duties
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team
