Job Requirements
- minimum of 2 years experience serving in an upscale dining and nightlife venue
 - high school diploma or equivalent
 - TABC Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or equivalent
 - flexible schedule
 - adherence to dress and appearance guidelines
 - ability to handle multiple tables efficiently
 - working knowledge of cocktail tray service
 - basic food service skills
 - responsible alcohol service knowledge
 - understanding of drink recipes and garnishes
 - Point of Sales system experience
 - ability to work in a fast-paced and loud environment
 - capability to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper techniques
 
Job Qualifications
- working knowledge of high-end restaurant operations
 - strong familiarity with safe and responsible alcohol service
 - experience in cash handling and recognizing valid IDs
 - knowledge of cocktail tray service
 - interest in wines, spirits, and mixology
 - previous exposure to nightlife environment
 - effective communication and customer service skills
 - ability to multitask and maintain atmosphere control
 - basic knowledge of culinary terms and upscale cuisine
 
Job Duties
- give proper recognition to Foundation Room Members, Live Nation Corporate Executives, and VIPs
 - demonstrate impeccable knowledge of upscale dining service steps
 - provide expert bottle and wine service
 - upsell and offer food and beverage suggestions
 - guide and direct guests through their dining experience
 - execute Bottle Service standards flawlessly
 - maintain professional grooming and articulate vocabulary
 - handle cash and Point of Sales system transactions
 - manage intoxicated guests positively and safely
 - maintain line of sight and atmosphere control
 - clean tables and remove dirty glasses and dishes
 - adhere to House of Blues safety, sanitation, and housekeeping standards
 - responsibly serve alcohol per local ordinances and company policies
 - process payments
 - assist other servers and staff as needed
