Job Requirements
- Meet the minimum legal age requirement for serving alcohol in the relevant jurisdiction
- maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor and smile frequently
- be available to work during days, nights, and/or weekends as needed
- function effectively in a lively, fast-paced environment with potential distractions
- read and understand handwritten or printed orders and instructions
- carry trays of drinks weighing up to 20 pounds
- move around the facility and stand for extended periods while serving guests
- walk or stand for the majority of the shift
- reach, bend, stoop, and wipe down surfaces frequently
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a customer service role preferred
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices
- ability to handle cash and process payments accurately
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- positive attitude and friendly demeanor
- team player with the ability to work collaboratively
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Job Duties
- Consistently provide outstanding Guest service by delivering a winning combination of drinks, food, and entertainment
- keep your immediate supervisor informed of any issues or significant unusual occurrences, and take prompt corrective action or suggest alternative solutions
- provide timely and efficient beverage service while effectively managing your service flow and communicating necessary information to Guests, fellow Team Members, and Managers
- approach Guests with a warm and enthusiastic attitude while managing various job responsibilities
- smile and acknowledge Guests upon their arrival at their tables or designated areas
- assist Guests with their drink orders, answer questions knowledgeably, and offer suggestions
- serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently according to established recipes and standards
- maintain a clean and organized service area, ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked and ready for service
- handle guest payments accurately and responsibly
- verify the identification of Guests to ensure they meet the minimum legal age requirements for alcohol consumption
- monitor Guest alcohol consumption and intervene responsibly when necessary in accordance with company policies and legal regulations
- wish departing Guests farewell, ensuring their satisfaction and inviting them to return
- inform the Manager of any Guest who appears dissatisfied or has a complaint
- adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding responsible alcohol service
- assist in stocking and maintaining beverage inventory for your service area
- ensure cleanliness of guest tables and surrounding areas
- collaborate with other Team Members to ensure smooth and efficient service throughout the venue
- maintain a positive and cooperative working relationship with all company Team Members to foster a harmonious and productive environment
- must meet the minimum legal age requirement for serving alcohol in the relevant jurisdiction
