Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years full-service restaurant experience or equivalent
- Knowledge of menu and specials including wine, liquor lists and special drinks
- Familiarity with accounting procedures
- Understanding of restaurant layout with table and station numbers
- Ability to meet schedule requirements punctually
- Courteous and pleasant demeanor
- Patient and courteous response to difficult guests
- Acceptance of constructive criticism
- Good interpersonal skills with co-workers
- Clean and well-manicured appearance
- Ability to stand and walk throughout entire shifts
- Physical ability to safely transport food and beverages on varying surfaces
- Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications

- Familiarity with wine list
- Familiarity with liquor list and special drinks
- Understanding of accounting procedures
- Knowledge of restaurant layout including table and station numbers
- Familiarity with individual restaurant orientation material including rules and philosophies
- Ability to meet personal schedule requirements punctually
- Courteous, pleasant and good natured
- Ability to respond to the needs of difficult guests with patience and courtesy
- Ability to accept constructive criticism
- Ability to get along well with co-workers
- Ability to maintain a clean, well-manicured personal appearance
- Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift
- Ability to safely transport food and beverages over slick, uneven surfaces
- Capability to transport food to serve a party of 4 in a single trip
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Effectively service a 6 table station
- Accurately account for and balance all sales and receipts
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen both verbally and utilizing the computer register system
- Present and encourage current promotional information and materials to guests
- Accurately account for all guest checks issued
- Accurately record and account for all items ordered and served
- Accurately accept payment from guests
- Notify guests of any automatic gratuity
- Perform calmly and effectively under pressure
- Communicate with guests clearly, patiently, courteously and with good humor
- Perform varied duties to ensure all aspects of service according to standing operating procedure
