Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent experience
- three to six months experience in a food or beverage services environment
- must have vision ability to clearly see detailed guest checks, computer print outs, written instructions and to observe entire restaurant in dimly lit conditions
- must have manual coordination to punch buttons, grasp items in hand, and to balance and carry trays loaded with food and beverages
- able to read, speak and understand English
- able to lift, push, carry 20 to 40 lbs
- stand continuously for long periods of time
- communicate information and hotel services to management, staff and guests
- TIPS certification required

Job Duties
- Greet and take drink orders from lounge guests
- serve orders and accommodate special needs or requests
- remain attentive to guests throughout the lounge experience adhering to service standards
- accurately record and enter all food and beverage items
- maintain knowledge of beverage menus, brand selections, prices and garnishes
- perform lounge setup including replenishing snacks, emptying ashtrays, controlling music and ambience, and bussing tables
- maximize sales using menu knowledge and suggestive selling techniques
- conduct oneself in a professional manner within guest view
- maintain cleanliness and orderly work areas
- collect accurate payments and ensure responsible alcohol service
- maintain appearance and uniform standards
- develop positive communication and teamwork with coworkers and supervisors
- handle guest service issues promptly and professionally
- perform other duties as assigned by management
