Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds
- Good balance and mobility including bending, kneeling, stooping, reaching, and squatting
- Effective communication skills
- Prior experience in beverage or food service preferred
Job Qualifications
- Experience in a similar cocktail server or hospitality role
- Knowledge of beverage preparation and service
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to operate point-of-sale systems accurately
- Understanding of state and local liquor laws
- Ability to work both part-time and full-time schedules
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Duties
- Report to work as indicated on the work schedule and in the correct uniform
- Practice positive personal hygiene and cleanliness habits during all work shifts
- Correctly set-up lounge and complete all opening and side work duties including cleaning, stocking, and checking par levels
- Greet all lounge members immediately and make beverage suggestions while answering questions about food and beverage service
- Take, record and ring all food and beverage items ordered by bar members
- Observe lounge members to ensure satisfaction with food, beverages, and service and respond to any needs or requests promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of lounge area, work areas, shelving, and storage areas according to standards
- Adhere to and comply with all state and local liquor laws and internal policies regarding alcoholic beverage service
- Assist fellow employees to enhance members' dining experience
- Communicate any member concerns or dissatisfaction to the Manager on Duty
- Accomplish all job duties following safety guidelines and report any unsafe conditions or incidents
- Process payment correctly for all food and beverages sold
- Maintain knowledge of all standards and procedures outlined in the employee training packet for cocktail servers
