Job Requirements
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation with strong experience in high-volume bars
- In-depth knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine
- Ability to recite trendy liquors and understand varietals
- Constant awareness of surroundings and guest needs while ensuring corporate standards are upheld
- Ability to read menus, promotions, and communicate clearly in English with guests and team members
- Ability to memorize, recite, and promote beverage and menu items
- Ability to transport trays up to 25 lbs through crowded rooms
- Strict adherence to all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Cash handling experience with the ability to balance funds, make change, and close out checks
- Ability to operate POS systems
- One year of cocktail serving experience required
- Ability to obtain government-required certifications
- TIPS and bartender certifications preferred
- Must adhere to Local 122 Collective Bargaining Agreement regulations, with option to obtain union membership after 90 days of employment

Job Duties
- Check and maintain proper set-up and cleanliness of service station and floor before, during, and after shift
- Greet guests in a timely, friendly, and courteous manner, explaining all specials, promotions, and food options
- Provide attentive service to all guests, assisting in both assigned sections and throughout the restaurant
- Take beverage orders and recite selections of all call and premium brands, including memorized knowledge of beer, wine, and cocktail offerings
- Provide appropriate garnishes and snacks with all beverages
- Input orders promptly into the point-of-sale system before drinks are made
- Maintain cleanliness of guest tables, arrange tables and chairs, and assist with the bar area
- Replenish beverages frequently, anticipating guest needs before they are requested
- Present checks promptly, handle payments accurately, and balance all monies
- Stock daily supplies, including straws, napkins, glassware, and food accompaniments
- Clear tables within three minutes of guest departure
- Perform side work, complete daily checklists, and assist with general cleaning tasks to maintain health standards
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
