Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
  • Flexible and able to work long hours
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
  • Ability to stand during entire shift
  • Ability to maneuver through dining area while carrying full trays of food and beverages

Job Duties

  • Provide the highest quality of service to guests in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner
  • Receive and deliver guest orders accurately and timely
  • Collect payment from guests and process transactions
  • Communicate effectively with guests and employees verbally and in writing
  • Listen to and clarify any concerns raised by guests or employees
  • Multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance, including proper uniform and nametag
  • Comply with hotel standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings
  • Identify problem areas in service and assist in implementing solutions
  • Handle problems proactively, anticipating, preventing, identifying, and resolving issues as necessary
