Job Requirements
- Experience in high-volume restaurants and lounges is strongly preferred
- strong service-related background and hospitality mindset
- must be able to obtain Oregon Food Handler's Certificate and OLCC Server's Permit within 30 days of hire
- MICROS experience is strongly preferred
- desire to accommodate a wide variety of personalities to achieve the highest possible level of customer satisfaction
Job Qualifications
- Experience in high-volume restaurants and lounges
- strong service-related background and hospitality mindset
- ability to obtain Oregon Food Handler's Certificate and OLCC Server's Permit within 30 days of hire
- experience with MICROS point of sale system preferred
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to accommodate a wide variety of customer personalities
- teamwork and collaboration skills
Job Duties
- Interact with customers taking orders and serving food and drinks
- assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
- attend to assigned section and assist other servers as needed
- coordinate with bartender and other coworkers to ensure efficient customer service
- communicate with kitchen and lounge staff to execute proper ticket delivery and customer orders
- maintain cleanliness and organization of section and side work
- adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
- contribute to team effort by accomplishing results as needed
