Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in beverage service or a related role
- Ability to stand and move throughout the facility for extended periods
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Must meet legal age requirements to serve alcohol
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to follow safety and sanitation regulations
- Availability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
Job Qualifications
- At least 1 year serving in fast-paced food and beverage venue
- Knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages, designated glassware, preparation methods and garnishments preferred
- Must meet state legal age requirements
- Must speak fluent English
- Other languages preferred
- Must be courteous, pleasant, and good natured
- Strong communication skills
- Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays
Job Duties
- Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in the employee handbook
- Anticipate and accommodate all the needs of the guests
- Use proper service protocol serving drinks to the guest's right using the right hand
- Carry trays efficiently
- Describe all drinks, specialty cocktails, wine and beer comprehensively
- Provide professional and exceptional service
- Ensure delivery of all beverages to guests
- Maintain cleanliness of assigned stations and entire venue
- Follow supervisor's instructions and support co-workers
- Possess in-depth knowledge of all food and beverage menus
- Serve alcoholic beverages inline with state regulations and alcohol awareness training
- Follow company procedures for bottle service
- Follow proper cash/payment card protocols
- Comply with Department of Health and sanitation standards
- Communicate guest needs to front-of-house and kitchen staff
- Set up cocktail lounge/bar and side stations
- Perform side-work and opening/closing procedures
- Ensure lounge furniture is clean
- Report equipment or furniture damage immediately
- Attend daily pre-shift and training meetings
- Demonstrate positive and professional attitude
- Work as part of a team providing support to all members
