Job Requirements
- Must be at least the legal drinking age as required by state law
 - minimum of 1 year serving experience in a fast-paced environment
 - ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds
 - able to stand and move efficiently throughout the facility during shifts
 - strong verbal communication skills
 - alcohol awareness certification or equivalent food service permit
 - must be energetic, outgoing, and professional
 - ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
 - basic math and reading skills needed for order taking and cash handling
 
Job Qualifications
- At least 1 year of serving experience in a fast-paced food and beverage venue, preferably nightclub environment
 - knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages, designated glassware, preparation methods and garnishments preferred
 - must meet state legal age requirements
 - must speak fluent English, other languages preferred
 - courteous, pleasant, and good natured
 - strong communication skills for interaction with guests, bartenders, wait staff, cooks, and supervisors
 - alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency
 - reading and writing abilities for taking orders and completing paperwork
 - basic math skills for handling cash and credit
 - availability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays
 
Job Duties
- Greet all guests and take beverage and food orders in a prompt and professional manner
 - serve cocktails and/or menu items to bar guests and up-sell when taking orders
 - show energy, outgoing personality, fun attitude while maintaining professionalism
 - provide outstanding and professional service with a smile to ensure guest satisfaction
 - communicate effectively and clearly with co-workers and kitchen staff both verbally and using the point of sales system
 - communicate with guests clearly, patiently, and with good humor
 - be well-versed in all concept products and menu items to guide guest experience and sell food and beverage items
 - consistently check guests' identification to ensure legal drinking age
 - monitor guest behavior and alcohol consumption to determine when service should cease and notify management of incidents
 - complete all assigned side work
 - accurately account for all sales and payments
 - alert management of service and safety issues and make service recovery gestures
 - promote teamwork and quality service through communication and coordination with other departments
 - coordinate with bartenders and kitchen for ordering and receipt of food and beverages
