Job Requirements

  • Arizona Title 4 basic certification
  • Coconino County Food Handler’s Card
  • ASBA Safer Bars training
  • minimum 1 year of cocktail experience
  • ability to lift up to 35 lbs independently
  • ability to stand for 8 or more hours per day
  • ability to twist, crouch, bend, and stoop multiple times per day
  • ability to understand and interpret Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and handle chemicals safely

Job Qualifications

  • Arizona Title 4 basic certification
  • Coconino County Food Handler’s Card
  • completion of ASBA Safer Bars training
  • minimum 1 year of cocktail experience
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • knowledge of cocktail recipes and ingredients
  • ability to enforce safety and liquor laws

Job Duties

  • Go above and beyond guests’ expectations
  • remember guests’ names, preferences, and stories
  • create community with regular and new guests
  • display exceptional conversation etiquette
  • apply cocktail menu knowledge to guests’ palates and preferences
  • recommend seasonal cocktails and recipe adjustments
  • monitor interactions for harassment and sexual violence
  • use ASBA Safer Bars training to curtail and de-escalate harassment situations
  • deny access and service to intoxicated persons and safely remove them
  • adhere to Mother Road Tap Room Way and H66 Liquor Service Policy
  • comply with Arizona Title 4 Liquor Law and local and federal laws
  • monitor Basecamp and provide daily shift updates
  • attend monthly and critical meetings
  • perform tasks assigned by MOD or Director of Hospitality
