Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with reasonable accommodations as needed
  • Dependable and punctual reporting to work as scheduled
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Capability to carry and lift heavy trays and ice buckets
  • Completion of training tests with a minimum score of 85 percent
  • Compliance with all policies regarding attendance and alcohol service

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Ability to pass all training tests with a score of 85 percent or higher
  • Six months to one year of related experience preferred
  • Familiarity with POS systems a plus
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of beverage service standards and responsible alcohol service practices

Job Duties

  • Serve beverages to guests from the bar adding appropriate garnishes as required
  • Be knowledgeable about culinary cocktails wine beer and spirit offerings
  • Assist servers with guest requests including conveying new orders
  • Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters and take them to bar or kitchen for cleaning
  • Stock service areas with supplies and garnishes as required
  • Check guests' identification to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for alcohol consumption
  • Monitor guests' physical condition and alcohol consumption following all policies taking appropriate steps to reduce alcohol-related issues
  • Carry ice buckets from ice machine to wells and carry heavy trays of beverages from bar to dining room
  • Report to work as scheduled and follow attendance policies
