Job Duties
- Responsible for preparing food precisely and efficiently according to executive chef specifications and customer requests
- prepare and set up the line station before each service start
- ensure all necessary supplies and food items for the shift are available and ready to use
- store and maintain sufficient food products in the line station to guarantee seamless service
- prepare food as required including items for other stations or special events and buffets
- consistently comply with portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen policies as per health department guidelines
- prepare foods promptly and accurately meeting temperature, portion control, and presentation specifications
- maintain daily cleanliness and hygiene of the work station including tables, shelves, grills, fryers, burners, ovens, stoves, refrigeration units
- clean the line at the end of service and assist with closing duties
- handle, store, and rotate all food products correctly
- accept food deliveries and place items in appropriate storage areas
- assist in developing new recipes and stay updated on culinary trends
- demonstrate positive attitude towards special customer requests with urgency, attention, and courtesy
- maintain proper personal hygiene with uniform and appearance
- perform other duties as assigned by the executive chef or sous chef
