Job Requirements
- Availability on weekends and holidays
- ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- 18 years of age or older
- physically able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment including tolerating heat and cold
- willingness to adhere strictly to uniform and cleanliness standards
- prior culinary experience preferred but not required
- strong customer service skills
- positive and energetic demeanor
- capability to stand or walk on hard surfaces for 10 to 12 hours
- ability to reach, bend, lift, carry, crouch, and clean
- comply with safety and hygiene regulations

Job Duties
- Establish and maintain a clean and organized station
- count all preparation items verifying quality and proper rotation
- measure and gather all ingredients and cook items according to specifications
- prepare assigned items as per specifications and prep list
- label, date, rotate, and properly store all prepared items using FIFO system
- return bulk items to the cooler as food is prepared to keep them out of the danger zone
- possess adequate knowledge to operate each equipment
- report repair and maintenance needs to kitchen manager
- work as a team member with clear and constructive communication
