Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0 to 2 years of relevant cooking experience preferred
- Ability to work varying shifts including early mornings, evenings and weekends
- Open availability preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Commitment to food safety and hygiene standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food preparation or culinary arts is a plus but not required
- Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
- Adaptable and reliable with a commitment to maintaining a healthy and safe work environment
Job Duties
- Prepare, portion, grill and present a variety of cold and/or hot foods for multiple meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner and special events/catering
- Read and measure/mix ingredients according to recipe(s)
- Prepare food and serve customers ordering à la carte and/or operate a grill, fryer and other kitchen equipment
- Attend work and report to scheduled shift on time with sufficient regularity
- Perform additional tasks as assigned which may vary between accounts depending on business needs and client requirements
