Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience as a line cook, preferably in a hotel setting
  • Knowledge of culinary ingredients and cooking procedures
  • Ability to work under supervision and independently
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform kitchen duties

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Preferably 2 years of prior line cook experience
  • Culinary diploma or related hotel gastronomy experience
  • Ability to perform basic cooking skills proficiently

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food items on assigned stations
  • Maintain food quality and presentation standards
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service
  • Assist in training and supervising junior kitchen staff
  • Manage inventory and stock supplies for the kitchen
  • Follow established recipes and menu guidelines
