Job Duties

  • Provide continuous customer attention
  • greet, assist, and thank customers promptly, courteously, and friendly
  • arrange, prepare, portion, and cook food according to company specifications
  • operate and understand the proper use of fryers, stoves, and rotisserie ovens
  • disinfect the workstation and equipment including fryers, rotisserie, hot boxes, stoves, and utensils
  • offer product suggestions when appropriate
  • store and rotate departmental products to ensure freshness and date control
  • replenish and efficiently use supplies to minimize waste and maintain supply cost
  • operate department tools and equipment including scales, printers, and cash registers
  • understand and follow daily required varieties, box color marketing, preparation times, and shelf-life guidelines
  • maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • report defective equipment and safety hazards to management
  • monitor food temperature
  • change containers, use hot bar production guides, prepare product for self-service display, break down hot boxes and monitor portion control
  • record statistics on hot food tracking charts
  • notify management of employee theft, customer theft, unauthorized discounts, property damage, or any illegal and/or company-violating actions
  • perform other related duties as assigned
