Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred but not absolutely required
- Minimum one year experience in department operations or management training program or equivalent combination
- Food Safety Handling certificate
- Sufficient math skills
- Ability to hear, speak and understand English
- Ability to read, write, analyze and interpret English
- Knowledge of all staff duties and procedures in the department
- Ability to pass a standard drug test and qualify under Drug Free Workplace Act
- Occasionally lift up to 70 pounds and frequently lift negligible weights
- Specific vision abilities including close vision and ability to focus
- Ability to work in environments with temperature extremes such as refrigerated and heated areas
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Cook and prepare food products according to Northgate Markets recipes
- Follow production norms and accurately plan daily production
- Rotate, label, and date food products following FIFO rules
- Maintain inventory control and stock products based on customer needs
- Provide rapid and friendly customer service and assist at the customer service line
- Review product quality before offering to customers
- Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members
- Receive products from vendors or warehouse as needed
- Minimize waste and report using loss tracking tools
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of refrigerators and workstations
- Comply with food safety guidelines and maintain quality standards
- Clean and organize work area and equipment before shift ends
- Perform additional duties as assigned
