Job Requirements
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent
- Minimum one year of plant or manufacturing experience
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Ability to complete required production reports and data entries
- Willingness to work various shifts including days, evenings, overnights, and weekends
- Compliance with 3M policies and safety standards
- Passing any 3M required testing during the selection process
Job Qualifications
- Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher completed and verified prior to start
- Minimum one year of plant and/or manufacturing experience in a public, private, government, or military environment
- Ability to operate and master production line controls and related software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record production data
- Effective communication skills to provide guidance and collaborate with team members
- Commitment to maintaining safety standards and cleanliness
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning
Job Duties
- Ensure the efficient setup and production of quality material on assigned coating line
- Coordinate job changeovers, monitor master control panel, and accurately record and enter production data including test results
- Provide guidance and instruction to personnel on the line as needed
- Complete production reports and quality data entries using PMCS/OPRA and designated software
- Review Manufacturing Order schedule and prepare/plan for upcoming production runs
- Lead and coordinate production runs to meet targets based on job specifications and work instructions
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment
- Maintain housekeeping at machine areas according to established standards
- Master all controls and consoles related to the line operation
- Be proficient in web handling and alignment, coat weight variables, tension control, all coating methods, NDC scanners, web drying settings, and safety controls
- Monitor and document productivity results and reasons for misses utilizing designated tools
