Job Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of plant or manufacturing experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Ability to complete required production reports and data entries
  • Willingness to work various shifts including days, evenings, overnights, and weekends
  • Compliance with 3M policies and safety standards
  • Passing any 3M required testing during the selection process

Job Qualifications

  • Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher completed and verified prior to start
  • Minimum one year of plant and/or manufacturing experience in a public, private, government, or military environment
  • Ability to operate and master production line controls and related software
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record production data
  • Effective communication skills to provide guidance and collaborate with team members
  • Commitment to maintaining safety standards and cleanliness
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning

Job Duties

  • Ensure the efficient setup and production of quality material on assigned coating line
  • Coordinate job changeovers, monitor master control panel, and accurately record and enter production data including test results
  • Provide guidance and instruction to personnel on the line as needed
  • Complete production reports and quality data entries using PMCS/OPRA and designated software
  • Review Manufacturing Order schedule and prepare/plan for upcoming production runs
  • Lead and coordinate production runs to meet targets based on job specifications and work instructions
  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment
  • Maintain housekeeping at machine areas according to established standards
  • Master all controls and consoles related to the line operation
  • Be proficient in web handling and alignment, coat weight variables, tension control, all coating methods, NDC scanners, web drying settings, and safety controls
  • Monitor and document productivity results and reasons for misses utilizing designated tools
