Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid Texas driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
- Effective communication skills in English
- Ability to recruit and motivate volunteers
- Ability to accomplish goals
- Experience in public speaking or facilitating meetings preferred
- Prior drug prevention experience preferred
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in behavioral sciences or related field preferred
- At least one year of full-time work experience preferred
- Prior drug prevention experience preferred
- Certified as a CPS or APS by the Texas Certification Board preferred
- Experience in public speaking or facilitating meetings preferred
- Experience working with local agencies preferred
- Adept at using programs like PowerPoint
- Very good writing and communication skills
- Ability to recruit and motivate volunteers
- Ability to accomplish goals
- Effective communication skills in English required
- Bilingual English and Spanish skills a plus
- Valid Texas driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation required
Job Duties
- Work with the Coalition Director to ensure that the goals and objectives of the Coalition are met yearly
- Regularly schedule, organize, and participate in drug-free activities including drug prevention presentations and community-based education and mobilization
- Host or co-host monthly Coalition meetings
- Actively engage in various media and public relations duties
- Recruit and retain Coalition members from all sectors of the community
