Job Requirements

  • Must become proficient with Amtrak's Food & Beverage Point of Sale (POS) devices, computer hardware and various software applications including Arrow, Vtrak and Cicsprod
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Prior demonstrated satisfactory job performance
  • Prior satisfactory attendance
  • Administers coaching and counseling
  • Knowledge of rules and regulations with respect to Amtrak's Service Standards and Union agreements
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED

Job Qualifications

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Prior demonstrated satisfactory job performance
  • Prior satisfactory attendance
  • Administer coaching and counseling
  • Knowledge of rules and regulations regarding Amtrak's Service Standards and Union agreements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Transportation industry supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience with forklift or Hi-Lo preferred
  • Excellent communicative and interpersonal skills, both oral and written

Job Duties

  • Monitor the workforce personnel, equipment and services provided
  • Ensure Amtrak's Service Standards are upheld and delivered by instruction through hands-on oversight of the working environment
  • Perform audits and evaluate work performance
  • Conduct counseling sessions verbally and in writing
  • Supervise Coach Cleaners in both Conventional and High-Speed Rail
  • Assist management in achieving designated goals in revenue recovery, cost control, diversity, guest and employee satisfaction, and safety
  • Manage daily operations and crisis management with respect to designated train routes
