Job Requirements

  • must be 18 years of age or older
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders
  • ability to stand or walk for up to 10 hours per day

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of high school diploma or GED
  • some college preferred
  • minimum of 5 years of food service, retail or restaurant supervisory experience
  • proficiency in analyzing profit and loss statements and financial performance
  • knowledge of labor laws
  • strong written and verbal communication skills
  • strong leadership skills with ability to manage, train, develop and motivate a diverse team
  • ability to problem solve and set goals
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • ability to adapt to new systems quickly

Job Duties

  • staff the restaurant timely and efficiently with carefully selected team
  • ensure the restaurant environment is safe at all times for both team members and guests
  • oversee the orientation and onboarding process and ensure proper execution
  • write and implement or monitor shift leader development and performance plans
  • make all final hire and separation decisions and ensure proper procedures are followed
  • create team member schedules considering availability, payroll, and overtime
  • own the performance of the entire team and create a culture of respect, recognition and reward
  • audit all facets of operations, deliver feedback and develop solutions
  • have complete understanding of budget and cost trends affecting operations
  • perform financial analysis and control cash, property, product and equipment
  • build sales, control labor and food costs
  • maintain operational standards and communicate maintenance issues
  • use company tools to coach, mentor and develop team members to ensure a high performing restaurant team
  • ensure all risk management issues comply with company standards
