Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED minimum
  • 18 years of age or older
  • 5 plus years of supervisory experience in food service, retail, or restaurant
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • able to stand or walk for up to 10 hours per day
  • flexible to work 50-60 hours per week including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • knowledge of labor laws
  • ability to problem solve and accept feedback
  • passion for hospitality and guest service
  • ability to set goals and implement plans

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of high school diploma or GED
  • some college preferred
  • minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in food service, retail, or restaurant
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • ability to adapt to new systems

  • knowledge of labor laws
  • proficiency in analyzing profit and loss statements

Job Duties

  • Staff the restaurant timely and efficiently with carefully selected team
  • ensure the restaurant environment is safe for team members and guests
  • oversee orientation and onboarding processes
  • implement and monitor shift leader development and performance plans
  • make final hire and separation decisions while ensuring proper procedures
  • create team member schedules considering sales volume, availability, payroll, and overtime
  • own the performance of the entire team and foster a positive culture
  • audit operations, deliver feedback, and develop solutions for improvements
  • understand budget and cost trends affecting operations
  • create business plans and perform financial analysis
  • control cash, property, product, and equipment
  • build sales while controlling labor and food costs
  • meet targets set by operations leadership
  • maintain operational standards and requirements
  • identify and communicate maintenance problems
  • ensure compliance with risk management and company standards
  • use company tools to coach and develop team members
  • ensure clear communication from district manager to all team members
  • leverage support from the Restaurant Support Center
