Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- certified dietary manager, dietetic technician, or Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition and foods preferred
- successful completion of Food Handler Training or Food Service Sanitation course within one year of employment
- ability to coordinate and supervise Child Nutrition Program staff
- knowledge of health department food safety standards
- capacity to maintain detailed food and supply inventories
- excellent communication skills
- willingness to comply with E-Verify employment eligibility verification
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma
- certified dietary manager, dietetic technician, or Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition and foods preferred
- successful completion of Food Handler Training or Food Service Sanitation course within one year of employment
- prior experience in food service management preferred
- strong organizational and leadership skills
- ability to maintain accurate records and inventories
Job Duties
- Ensures an ample supply of food during the meal service times
- develops a cleaning schedule
- ensures proper temperatures are maintained according to health department standards
- maintains a daily record of cooler and freezer temperatures
- conducts orientation of all new Child Nutrition Program employees
- conducts a yearly evaluation of all Child Nutrition Program employees according to established Board policies
- completes daily food production records
