Job Requirements
- CNA license required
- Must meet state training and certification requirements
- First Aid certification and CPR if required
- Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Basic technology competency including Microsoft Office and internet-based applications
- High school education or GED equivalent preferred
- Nursing assistant course recommended

Job Duties
- Monitor residents' well-being and report any changes immediately
- Assist residents with simple requests or direct to appropriate associate
- Learn resident preferences to provide exemplary customer service
- Supervise or assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, ambulation, and other activities of daily living
- Provide companionship and develop strong resident relations
- Respond to emergencies following policies and procedures
- Assist residents with assistive devices such as walkers, wheelchairs, hearing aids
- Encourage resident self-care
- Document care provided consistent with standards
- Provide input to Care Services Director or Resident Care Coordinator
- Review 24 Hour Report and care checklists regularly
- Maintain resident confidentiality and privacy
- Practice standard precautions and infection control
- Observe and monitor residents for documentation
- Cover Customer Service desk if necessary
- Answer telephone according to policy
- Lead and participate in resident-centered wellness programs
- Resolve resident questions per policies
- Greet and direct family members and potential residents
- Assist in community special and marketing events
- Help residents meet social needs
- Maintain upkeep of community and resident rooms
- Assist with laundry as assigned
- Support open communication among associates
- Work collaboratively with the team
- Maintain high personal appearance standards
- Seek ways to reduce costs and improve efficiency
- Ensure regulatory compliance and report concerns
- Support continuous improvement
- Adhere to laws, regulations, and company standards
- Understand and support community sales process
- Perform other related duties as required
