Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Successful completion of the 75-hour state-approved Nursing Assistant course
- Active Nurse Aide (CNA) license in good standing in Nebraska
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association

- Demonstrated ability to work compassionately within a hospice care setting
Job Duties
- Check-in with outgoing CNA at shift start to receive patient report
- Conduct hourly patient rounds including vitals check, whiteboard updates, and care assistance
- Assist patients with ambulation, ensuring safe movement to recliners, bathrooms, or vehicles
- Aid patients with hygiene needs, including bed baths and shower assistance
- Support bedside nurses during tube insertions by providing supplies, holding patients, and cleanup
- Assist with wound checks and dressing changes alongside nursing staff
- Change bed linens and monitor patient weight, performing other daily assigned tasks
