Job Requirements
- High school graduate or GED preferred
- six months experience in volume food preparation or ability to learn on the job
- food handler's certificate required
- ability to perform physical tasks including medium lifting and carrying
- ability to stand or walk up to two and a half hours continuously
- dependable and punctual
- able to work in varied environmental conditions
- able to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- willingness to work at any campus as assigned
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Report at assigned time and campus
- keep kitchen in a clean and orderly condition
- follow standardized recipes for food preparation
- follow Child Nutrition Dietitian instructions for special diets
- serve food items using proper portion sizes in accordance with USDA regulations
- prepare proper amounts of food in a timely manner
- follow schedules and complete duties on time
- maintain high standards of sanitation, personal hygiene, punctuality and attendance
- operate and clean kitchen equipment efficiently
- report any kitchen equipment needing repair
- work rapidly and efficiently
- store food supplies and leftovers according to instructions
- prepare cleaning solutions as specified
- assist in general cleaning and sanitation of the kitchen
- provide own transportation for travel as assigned
- cross-train in all areas of food preparation
- perform duties safely to avoid injury
- perform other related duties as assigned
