Job Requirements
- High school graduate or GED preferred
- six months experience in volume food preparation or ability to learn on the job
- ability to work with minimal supervision
- ability to follow safety procedures
- ability to perform multiple tasks without loss of efficiency
- ability to maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and supervisors
- possession and maintenance of current food handler’s certificate
- willingness to accept any campus assignment
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Reports at assigned time and campus
- keep kitchen in a clean and orderly condition
- follow standardized recipes provided by the manager for food preparation
- follow Child Nutrition Dietitian instructions for special diets
- serve a wide variety of food items using proper portion sizes per USDA regulations
- prepare proper amounts of food timely for service
- follow manager’s schedule and complete duties on time
- maintain high standard of sanitation, personal hygiene, punctuality and attendance
- operate and clean kitchen equipment efficiently
- report kitchen equipment needing repair
- work rapidly and efficiently
- store food supplies and leftovers following instructions
- mix cleaning solutions according to specifications
- assist in general cleaning and sanitation
- provide own transportation for travel as assigned
- cross-train in all areas of food preparation
- perform duties safely to avoid injury
- perform other related duties as assigned
