Job Requirements

  • Exceptional people skills with ability to build trust and relations
  • ability to qualify potential clients and negotiate
  • knowledge of food and beverage etiquette, service standards, food preparation and presentation
  • hotel sales experience preferred
  • knowledge of CITY, MARSHA, LightSpeed, and/or Delphi systems a plus
  • previous brand experience preferred
  • market knowledge of Cary/Raleigh RTP area a plus
  • driven and goal oriented
  • exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • college degree preferred

  • knowledge of food and beverage etiquette, service standards, food preparation, and presentation
  • previous brand experience with Marriott, Hyatt, or Hilton preferred
  • familiarity with CITY, MARSHA, LightSpeed, and/or Delphi systems a plus
  • exceptional telephone and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Maintain highest level of competencies to help properties achieve business goals
  • responsible for sales and revenue generation for assigned segments
  • understand the brands represented and stay updated on sales initiatives
  • exceptional telephone skills to identify, analyze, build rapport, and understand clients’ goals
  • promptly and accurately qualify incoming sales leads
  • prepare and send proposals and contracts within established timeframes
  • understand contract content and negotiate terms
  • assist clients with event planning and implementation
  • communicate with relevant departments to ensure guest satisfaction through accurate Banquet Event Orders
  • issue accurate menus, pricing, and technology in coordination with leadership
  • meet budgeted meeting room, catering revenues, and assigned segments
