Job Requirements
- Exceptional people skills with ability to build trust and relationships
- Ability to qualify potential clients and negotiate effectively
- Knowledge of food and beverage etiquette and service standards
- Hotel sales experience preferred
- Familiarity with CITY, MARSHA, LightSpeed and/or Delphi systems preferred
- Previous brand experience preferred (Marriott, Hyatt, Hilton)
- Market knowledge of Cary/Raleigh RTP area a plus
- Driven and goal oriented
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- College degree preferred

Job Duties
- Reporting to the vice president of sales and marketing, maintaining highest level of competencies to help properties achieve business goals
- Responsible for sales and revenue generation for assigned segments
- Understanding brands represented and staying up to date on sales initiatives
- Utilizing exceptional telephone skills to identify, analyze, build rapport and understand clients' goals
- Qualifying incoming sales leads promptly and accurately
- Preparing and sending proposals and contracts within established timeframes
- Understanding contracts content and negotiating terms
- Assisting clients with event planning and ensuring successful event execution
- Communicating with relevant departments for guest satisfaction through accurate Banquet Event Orders
- Coordinating menus, pricing, and technology with management teams
- Meeting budgeted meeting room, catering revenues and other assigned targets
