Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- experience in hospitality or catering sales preferred
- strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
- proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software
- reliable transportation
- availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

- focus on building relationships and developing connections with clients and other hotel department leaders

- knowledge of hotel operations, events, or sales preferred
Job Duties
- execute the catering sales strategy within the hotel
- plan, coordinate and service all catering events on-property
- build and maintain strong relationships with clients including corporate, social, and association groups
- develop catering proposals, contracts, and event orders
- respond to client and guest questions
- ensure that all event specifications are met including food and beverage, décor, audio visual, and staffing
- actively prospect new catering business
- perform other reasonable duties as assigned
