Job Requirements
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions

Job Qualifications
- Prior experience and proven success in the hospitality or service industry
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred
- Prior special events set up / tear down experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Additional languages preferred

Job Duties
- Clean restrooms, foyer space, and furniture as assigned
- Utilize specialty equipment complying with all safety and procedural guidelines
- Polish, restore, seal, finish and maintain all flooring, including marble, granite, etc
- Complete extraction and spotting of carpets
- Complete high and low dusting of ceiling vents, wall decorations, etc
- Use various machines such as carpet extractors, scrubbers (ride-on and walk-behind), burnishers, floor machines, lifts, wet/dry vacuums, spotting machines
- Operate hand trucks and flatbed carts to move equipment to assigned work areas
- Use proper techniques and equipment when moving heavy furniture to clean the area underneath
- Properly use and dispose of chemicals when conducting area cleaning
- Conduct bio-hazard clean-up
- Must have the ability to move furniture, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motions
- Lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects and/or move up to 75 pounds occasionally
- Provide courteous and professional service as well as proper care, movement, storage of all equipment such as tables, chairs, and other event equipment
- Quickly and efficiently retrieves all materials needed for setup for special events
- Ensures all venues are well-maintained and cleaned prior to and/or after an event
- Assists with inventory control of catering equipment and furniture
- Communicates with supervisor verbally and through written communication throughout the shift to ensure proper notification and follow through of assigned tasks
- Maintains safe and sanitary conditions in all banquet service areas and for all banquet service equipment
- Safely drives and maintains vehicles available for transporting event materials
- Demonstrates full knowledge of banquet areas and keeps banquet service areas properly stocked and cleaned
- Assists other banquet staff when needed and performs side work and other cleaning and organizing
