Job Requirements

- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting, and moving items up to 75 pounds

Job Qualifications
- Prior experience and proven success in the hospitality or service industry is strongly preferred
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred
- Prior special events setup and teardown experience preferred
- Ability to meet physical demands of the position
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism and positive attitude
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in English, additional languages preferred
Job Duties
- Clean restrooms, foyer space, and furniture as assigned
- Utilize specialty equipment complying with all safety and procedural guidelines
- Polish, restore, seal, finish and maintain all flooring, including marble and granite
- Complete extraction and spotting of carpets
- Perform high and low dusting of ceiling vents and wall decorations
- Operate various machines such as carpet extractors, scrubbers, burnishers, floor machines, lifts, wet/dry vacuums, spotting machines
- Move equipment safely using hand trucks and flatbed carts
- Use proper techniques to move heavy furniture for cleaning underneath
- Properly use and dispose of chemicals when conducting cleaning
- Conduct bio-hazard clean-up
- Provide courteous and professional banquet service including movement and storage of event equipment
- Assist with setup and teardown for special events
- Maintain banquet areas clean and well-stocked
- Communicate effectively with supervisors
- Drive and maintain vehicles for event material transport
- Perform additional side work and organizing tasks as needed
