Job Duties
- Check daily function sheets for special set-ups
- Receive instructions from supervisor
- Taste and memorize menu items
- Perform side-work for meal setups
- Take beverage and food orders if needed
- Alert supervisor to alcohol overconsumption or underage drinking
- Address members courteously using suggestive selling
- Serve food in proper course sequence
- Clear and reset tables
- Manage to-go orders by phone
- Maintain cleanliness of workstation
- Understand food and wine menus thoroughly
- Ensure food plates meet ticket requirements
- Ensure food presentation and safety
- Maintain clean and presentable appearance
- Adhere to Club Bylaws and Rules
- Report complaints and rule infractions
- Perform end of shift side-work
- Complete server report if necessary
- Perform additional duties assigned
- Report to supervisor before leaving
