Job Duties
- Welcomes members by greeting them in person or by phone in an enthusiastic and professional manner, answering questions and responding to requests
- gathers, summarizes, and provides information to members about the property and surrounding area amenities
- fulfills unusual requests such as searching for hard-to-find items and arranging unique services
- makes dining and other reservations for members
- issues recreation equipment and applies charges accurately
- maintains knowledge about Club and Resort activities and events
- directs members to rooms and facilities by escorting or showing locations on a map
- communicates with Recreation Team, Bell person, or other staff as needed
- handles member accounting functions including entering services and charges, computing bills, and obtaining payments
- resolves member complaints within scope of authority or refers to management
- notifies supervisor and security of unusual events or theft
- follows all safety policies and procedures and reports potential safety issues
- reports to work as scheduled on time and regularly
- stays up-to-date on Club and Resort events and internal activities
- uses internal radios for communication as needed
- reviews information on member arrivals and VIPs to anticipate inquiries
- maintains knowledge of property types, amenities, restaurants, and facilities
- may transport props and decorations for events
- attends training sessions to improve job knowledge
- works toward increasing member satisfaction scores
- notifies management of unsafe conditions, maintenance needs, or accidents
